Mary, Mother of Jesus

Part One

No account of the life of Jesus would be complete without a tribute to his mother, Mary, who had to endure the terrifying joys and ultimate agony of bearing and sacrificing the Son of God.

In the past forty years several separate (and often ingenious!)indications were given to me that her true date of birth was not September 8th as celebrated by the Roman church, but August 4th; and eventually the penny dropped and her nativity was revealed in all its glory.
